TopMechaniks product range has been replenished with a new product from FKL company – hubs for disc harrows type BDM IL50-120/6T-44-R635.
Construction based on integrated housing double-row angular contact ball bearing and cartridge seal design provides longer product life than standard bearing hubs. The hub body is the outer ring of the bearing, which allows the installation of balls of larger diameter, thereby significantly increasing the load capacity of the hub and eliminating possible backlash between the hub and the outer ring of the bearing. Lubrication and seals are designed to last the entire life of the bearing. The adapter for attaching the hub to the rack is made using forging technology from C45 steel.
To fix the adapter nut to the hub axle, a washer in the form of a disc spring is used; it has 2 functions:
- Prevents the screw connection from unscrewing due to vibration.
- Provides an axial force of 8 tons, which allows you to select backlash during bearing operation, thereby allowing the bearing to exhaust its resource by 100 %.
